A12 CARS FOR SALE
PAGE 2
Thats it for now...newest cars on the bottom...last updated Sept 28th, 2004.

                                                                           ***WANTED***
Any and all listings found on the world wide web (or anywhere else on the planet) pertaining to A12 cars for sale.

Yes we are in fact tracking the ever dangerous and rare A12 440 Mopar Mastodons, the epitome of predatory muscular steel!

Don the safari gear, lace up your hiking boots, pack the binoculars and load your cameras. Now kiss the wife and kids goodbye, we're on an expedition to the furthermost reaches of blacktop pounding internet sites. Here is where they lurk. Never traveling in easy to spot herds (such as the plentiful camaro or mustang prey), these loners are few and far between. They have been known to stake out entire counties or portions of states as their private domain and guarded hunting grounds.

As these carnivors surface ever so briefly, during territorial relocation, we want to be on hand for the
sighting. These magnificent beasts, produced for only a half year, are extremely difficult to spot. Searching them out on your own could involve years of one's life, only to gain a fleeting glimpse of a mere handful.

Join us now as we form our cyber posse. You need no permit or license...only a desire to see as many of these brutes as possible. The reward is obvious, if we all pitch in, we experience maximum exposure. We will observe A12 cars for sale which we otherwise would never have witnessed. Those looking to buy or sell, or those just looking to monitor the market, regardless of your specific interests.....we will all benefit, if we all contribute.  liftoffregistry@hotmail.com

90. 1969 1/2 Dodge Super Bee 4-Speed R4 Red Six Pack
Factory Bucket Seat Console Car!!
This car has a clean title and also has documentation consisting of copies of original titles back to 1971 when it was purchased off the lot in Texas at a Dodge Dealer.   The original fender tag is still on the car but there was no broadcast sheet found.   The tranny and rearend are original to the car but the original motor is long gone.
Here are the basics on the car.   This car is a running, driving 69 ½ Bee.  The motor in the car is a 1973 or 1974 "440"  but has been rebuilt at one time with a steel crank and much horsepower.   This car starts every time and runs extremely strong.  The car presently has a 4 brl double pumper on it but comes with a correct 69 ½ intake set-up with correct four speed carbs.  Unfortunately I do not have the air cleaner for it.   The car has the original radiator and has a small leak.
The shifter is new as well as all of the linkage.  Center force dual friction clutch.    10" steel wheels on rear.   All new BFG's all around.   The car does come with four H code wheels. (They are the later H code wheels).
The interior is in average condition and is perfect for your driver car or restore for show.  No tic tock tach.    Console is nice, carpet is nice, new package tray, nice shifter, standard wheel, dash could use detailing, seat are decent with minor cracks on the rear seat, headliner is good.
Now for the body.   As you can see the car has been painted black.  The original color is R4 red with black vinyl top, black interior, and black stripe.  The vinyl top has been removed when painted black.  The paint job is bad.   There was a reaction in the clear and is bubbled everywhere.   The black was painted right over the original red paint. I messed around wet sanding and if you want to drive the car black you can actually get the  bubbling out of the clear and buff it to look OK.   There are scratches also.  I don't want to mislead you to think you can sand and buff this car and have it be a show car but it would look respectable.  The frame, floorboards, inner fenders, and wheel houses are very, very nice.  There is still red paint evident on the bottom of the car on the rails.   The bottom of the quarters show signs of bubbling and have been worked at one time.  This car will NOT need full quarters.  The bottom of the doors and the trunk floor are the worst part of the car.  The trunk will be perfect with the two piece replacement panels or even better a one piece NOS.  The extensions are nice.   The bottoms of the doors are bubbling and have actually rusted through on the inside.   These can also be saved or replace them for a quicker fix.   It has flowmaster mufflers and is quite aggressive sounding.   The hood is a year one repro with year one pins.
This is a A12 that you can actually drive this summer and have a blast and tear it apart next winter to have is ready for the A12 reunion at Carlisle.   I really hate to see this car go but I am selling due to the purchase of a family members car.  This car is registered in the A12 registry and was listed by my friend whom I purchased the car back from.   I did not have time to get the car out and get good photos but I will try to add some soon.  I will also add the fender tag codes.
I reserve the right to end auction at any time as the car is listed locally.     I will answer all questions late each night.   This car is a very good investment and money maker at my reserve price.   I will not reveal reserve.
Again this car drives extremely well and is very powerful.   I have no idea what was done on the motor except for what I can see.     The motor is not very pretty to look at.

95. 1969 Dodge A12 Super Bee 440 Six Pack
It is an F6 black top black bench interior 4spd hardtop with side scoops. I obtained it in its current condition. It retains the matching #'s Block, Transmission and Dana. Car was completely dismantled (except suspension) and all parts
bagged, tagged and crated for restoration. That's as far as it got before I got it. It is supposed to be pretty complete and appears to be except for the following items.
Front bench seat (has rear)
Air Breather
Radiator
Trans inspection cover
Valve Covers and Rocker gear
Wheel well trim
Dual point Dist
The block, heads, crank, Rods, transmission and sixpack are all nice! Nice original fender tag also (no build sheet)! All body #'s match!
The car is nice in the engine compartment. The interior floors are nice except driver feet area. The fenders have a small amount of rust at bottoms. Frame is very solid. The quarters, trunk and drivers side of the rear window channel need allot of work! The paint is as bad as it gets!!
This is a major project!
Best offer.                                                                                          April 25th 2004.

100.  1969 1/2 SUPER BEE 440SIX PACK A12 4 speed, dana, bucket seats and console, ps, pb am/fm factory radio.
one of 1487 coupes made that year per the articile in aug 04 issue of mopar action magazine.
in the san francisco california area for the 1st 22 years with the original owner. now in the hands of the 2nd owner, a co-worker of the 1st owner, who drove the car about 100 miles away and put it in a nice shop, covered, for the last 14 years planning to resore it.
many new parts have been purchased and come with the car.
the tires on the car now are the original tires that came with the car when it was new, they have been in storage all this time and were put back on the car yesterday.
this car has been in northern california all of its life, but due to moist air in san francisco it has some rust, especially around the rear window area. this car is like a time capsul. original engine and transmission and rear axle. the only things i see that are not factory installed are: tach on steering column, battery, under dash 8 track player.
you could drive the car as-is but it really needs to be restored

Both have fender tags. One has a mint build sheet the other has about 1/3 of the original build sheet. Both are project cars.
One is F6 the other is V2.

119. This vehicle is a original 6BBL 691/2 Road Runner.  Vin matches on the radiator support and trunk lip.  It has the Dana 60 in it yet,and has a torqueflight with a column shift, just the way it came from the factory.  It has a 1970 six pack shortblock with the correct heads and correct 69 aluminum intake and carbs.  Motor and trans are rebuilt, and the dana has been gone through.  I spent the last three years restoring this car with no intentions of ever selling it.  But,I just fired it up today for it's first trip down the road and backed over my 4 year old sons scooter and banged up the passenger side rear quarter.  I am beside myself about it and decided to sell it.  I included a picture of the damage and understand that I will have to allow for repairs in the selling price.  I am going to run a short auction to sell before I change my mind.  I lost track of money invested in this project after $40,000.00.  This is a very rare car, it is rallye green, one of the rare spring colors offered.
This car has been completely gone through.  It has one year old pant,  it has the original H-wheels on it with redline tires.  Car is extrememly solid, top and bottom.  Frame is great, floors and trunk are great.  Original fender tag, still intact.  Interior is in excellent condition.  This car is show quality, except for my new scratches.  It wont take much to fix, but Im not going back there again.  Must sell.  Any other questions E-mail at Moparski69@wi.rr.com, or call Dan at 262-483-6117.

120.  '69 F6 Six Pack 4 speed matching numbers Bee. Everything's there except the intake, carbs, and air cleaner but it's rough and rusty.  It needs 1/4's, wheel houses, trunk pan, trunk extensions, trunk lid, tail panel, doors, fenders, inner fenders, rust in the rockers fixed, both front floor pans, and a small amout of rust in the rear frame rails fixed. I only have the top 1/4 of the broad cast sheet and it does have the fender tag, although it's rusty but legible. $22k or best offer. I can deliver from Oklahoma for $1 per mile one way. I have an original intake, NOS rear carb, new center and front carb, and complete air cleaner that I'd sell with the car for $25k (I won't sell the induction system seperately).  WM23M9A306858  SOLD!!!

123. 1969 Plymouth Road Runner 440-6BBL "clone" car. This car was originally a 383 Road Runner. It has been built to run in the Factory Appearing Stock Tire (F.A.S.T.) Drag races. It currently is powered by a 500 cubic inch engine making 500+ horsepower, good enough to propel the car to a best et of 12.10 @ 114.9 mph  all on the skinny redline tires! On drag radials, this car will run in the 11's all day! Check out this car at the F.A.S.T. website: http://www.geocities.com/fadrags2/ This car is a replica of a 1969 1/2 Plymouth Road Runner equipped with the A12 440 Six Barrel package. Plymouth produced 1,412 of these cars in the spring of 1969 - 602 equipped with the automatic transmission. In addition to the 390 horsepower 440 cubic inch engine topped by a trio of Holley 2 barrel carburetors, the A12 package also included: fiberglass lift-off hood with fresh air scoop, 15x6 black steel wheels with chrome lug nuts, heavy duty suspension and G70x15 redline tires. The muscle car era was soon coming to an end, so Chrysler wanted to make a final big splash by unleashing this outrageous looking factory built street racer. In a 1969 test for Super Stock magazine, Ronnie Sox piloted an A12 Road Runner to a best time of 12.71 in the quarter mile. This placed the A12 Road Runner as the third fastest muscle car of the era (and the only 2 cars ahead of it are much smaller, fiberglass cars  not even "musclecars" by most definitions). Original A12 cars in this condition are bringing prices double what you would have to pay for this car, being a "clone". For a fraction of the price of an original, you can own an A12 "replica", in stunning show condition, that will easily outrun any stock A12 car. Ronnie Sox's best time in a factory A12 car was 12.71. This car has run 12.10 and is capable of much better! In fact, the previous owner has raced Vipers and blown them away. This car is packing a lot of heat and is an absolute thrill to drive! This Road Runner is an extremely solid and original car. It is incredibly well documented. I am the fourth owner, and have information on all of the previous owners of the car. The Road Runner was originally purchased from Brown & Graham Motor Company in Boone, North Carolina. It comes with the original broadcast sheet and fender tag, and has been decoded by Galen Govier. The car has been featured in several magazines, including the April 2003 issue of Hot Rod Magazine ("Send in the Clones") and the December 2003 issue of Mopar Muscle ("Six-Barrel Poker"). This car runs like a dream. I have been driving it for about a month with absolutely no problems. As I have said before, the previous owner built the car to run in the F.A.S.T. Drag Races. Most of the work that has been done on the car has been done since 2002. I have a stack of receipts for almost everything that has been done to it. The previous owner used the car mainly on the strip. I have not raced the car since I got it. For me, it is a cool street cruiser. The car is currently on the road, registered and safetied. The car runs great on 94 octane pump gas. When racing, you will want to advance the timing and run a mix of race gas/pump gas to get the best results. This car draws a crowd every time and everywhere I bring it. I have many received offers for this car however I was never ready to sell until now. Unfortunately, due to personal problems (read D-I-V-O-R-C-E), the car has to go. I bought the car as my dream car and planned on keeping this one for a long time. I never, EVER, intended to sell it. But things change. I never thought I would say this, but it is just a car and there are things that are more important. So the car has to go. Take a good look at the pictures. Most of them were taken in the past month, since I got the car.      July 14th 2004.

124. RM23M9A262511-Here's a rare opportunity, a 1969 1/2 Plymouth M-Code 440 Six-Pack 4-Spd Road Runner. This Road Runner is 1 of only 488 M-Code 4-Spd. Hardtops ever made. Car is beautiful and extremly solid, no rust what so ever. Car is laser straight all around and has had one $8000 re-paint in it's life. At that time, one fender was replaced because of a small dent, all other panels are original and mint. Color is original R4 Performance Red, and is indicated on the fender tag and buildsheet. Car is super clean underneath with no rust. I am the 4th owner of this gem and the car spent its entire life in the same town since new. Car runs perfect, very strong and tight. 4-Spd shifts through all gears perfectly. Everything on the car works just as it should, e.g. dash, lights, etc. Correct H-pattern rims. Car needs nothing. Transmission is also #'s Matching. Interior is mint, no rips, tears, etc. Dashpad is mint, no cracks. Carpet is mint. Original hood. This is the type of car that simply does not come around that often, especially in this type of mint original condition. It is very rare to find any M-code with it's original #'s Matching engine and transmission, let alone a 4-spd, let alone in this condition, and has a buildsheet. This car is truly a testiment to what it means to be "well taken care of" This car benifited greatly from being in the same small town since new, and all 3 previous owners knowing one another. I am a avid Mopar hobbiest, and have honestly kicked around the idea of this one being a "keeper" for myself but sadly I cannot. I have been in the Mopar hobby for over 20 years and can honestly say this car ranks right up there on the "just don't see em" list. This car would bring nice dollars at a Barrett-Jackson. Inspections are encouraged and available anytime. Feel free to call anytime, John at: (612) 272-0021 or (612) 968-3269

129. 1969 1/2 Dodge Coronet Super Bee Project WM23M9A261814
I am listing this car for a friend. First of all, this is a straight body with original panels, with no body patches & excellent paint.  This car is as shown in the pictures.  It is a project car that needs to be completed.  It is a very rare 1969 1/2 Dodge Coronet Super Bee, (VIN # WM23M9A261814)  440 six pack 4 speed  car. The engine is a non matching numbers, 440 cu in   "date coded 1972" .  It was rebuilt by Greulich's Auto Machine Inc., Scotsdale, Arizona, @ total cost of $3,596.00.  Receipts are available for faxing.
This rust free body has all original panels, with the exception of the right front fender NOS installed.  The only patch is a 4 X 4 inch patch on floor where driver would rest his left foot.  As you see, this body is very straight, with excellent Hemi Orange paint.  Vinyl top needs to be installed (not included).  As I stated, this car is a very serious project, which was started years ago.  Approximately 95% of the parts are there, you will have to do some searching for odds and ends , such as windshield and drive shaft.  Interior and dash seem to be complete, but will need total restoration.
New or rebuilt items:
1. rebuilt 440 motor (inquire about details & modifications), new clutch, pressure plate and bell housing
2. new carb's and linkages
3.  new front end kit
4.  new door rubbers

Many car advertisements state that their car looks like new, this one actually does. This Road Runner was featured in the February 1999 issue of Cars & Parts Magazine. A copy of the Magazine goes along with the sale.
The 440 has been professionally rebuilt to the 440 6bbl specifications, but it is not number matching. It Has a correct 2536430 block and the original Aluminum Edelbrock manifold, Air Cleaner assembly and exhaust manifolds. It sits in a engine bay that is perfectly restored down to the last detail.
The 727 Torqueflite transmission has been rebuilt and features a shift kit and new torque converter it may be original, but I'm not sure. It. Here is a Beautiful Numbers Matching 440 Six Pack A12 Super Bee!
This car has only 38,000 original miles and has been well maintained its entire life. Close inspection shows that all the sheet metal on this car is original including floorpans, trunk pan, quarter panels, etc... There are no signs of rust or rust repair anywhere on car.
The exterior has been repainted the original color of V2 HEMI ORANGE sometime in its past but still shines and look great. The hood is the original fiberglass six pack lift off hood in excellent condition with no cracks.
Underside of car is original and untouched. It is solid with no signs of rust or repair and even has the original undercoating still in place although flaking in some spots.
The trunk is very clean and completely original and has never been repaired or replaced. It also holds the original jack assembly.
The engine is the original 440 that has just been rebuilt to stock specifications just like when it was new. An electronic ignition has been added for reliability. The Holley six pack has also been rebuilt resulting in a very smooth and extremely strong power plant.
The transmission has been gone through and a new clutch installed. This is the original A833 18 spline transmission also known as "The HEMI 4-Speed" with the factory installed Hurst shifter.
It has an original Dana 60 rear end with 4:10 gear ratio which was factory installed and still works flawlessly.
The car has all four of its original 15x6 black painted steel wheels w/chrome lugnuts and original spare in trunk. All five tires are reproduction Redline bias ply tires and are new.
All stainless and chrome on car is bright and shines well as seen in pictures.
The glass appears all original, very nice and clear with no chips hazing or scratches.
The interior has new seat covers front and rear, new carpet and floor mats and a new headliner. Everything else is original including steering wheel, guages and switches. Everything is functional and works great. This car was not ordered with a tachometer so one has been added to the steering column and is removable with no damage. It also never received a radio from the factory (this was a bare bones muscle car) or in the last 35 years fortunately. There are a few cracks in the dash pad, but overall the entire dash is in great condition.
